THE CAMPUS

North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork, Inc is located just outside of Asheville in the quaint town of Fairview.

The teaching area is spacious and was architecturally designed for the student therapist.  Classrooms are filled with a variety of tools meant to aid the student in broadening their knowledge of the human body and staff members are available for helpful guidance and encouraging support.

A student reference, school store and a full administrative staff are in place to serve each student’s academic needs as each new and exciting day unfolds.
Classes are held Monday thru Thursday from 9:00am-2:00pm then again following the same curriculum from 5:30pm-10:30pm.

Fridays and Saturdays are reserved for the student clinic; here students are given a chance to showcase their newly found skills to the public.  Current students, prospective students, graduates, local residents and even those from far away are welcome to take part in this invaluable form of teaching. The student clinic serves to provide each student with supervised sessions that promote experience and confidence and help to nurture awareness of the massage therapy profession. It is a great way to help while taking advantage of the chance to receive a one hour massage for just $30.00.

The weekends are also a great time to enroll in one of the many continuing education courses provided by Advanced Bodywork Seminars. The seminars are designed to go further into elite forms of clinical massage techniques by expanding on the stress-tension-pain syndrome.  The segmented seminars focus on postural distortions, muscular imbalances and pain management.

Please call for the current 2010 schedule of Kyle Wright’s Continuing Education Courses. You may also contact the NCSAB at (828) 628-3007 so we may answer any questions you may have.

Periodically North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork, Inc hosts an informative Open House.  It is during this presentation that an open forum is created to meet local therapists, prospective students and simply those interested in learning about the field of massage therapy.
